You can decide yourself when the charcoal shall be ready. ■For a fast and effective way, make a pile of the charcoal on one side of the grill. Later, when the charcoal is lit you can spread it out. Observe, do NOT use lighter fluid along with the Looftlighter. ■If you want the charcoal to be ready after 30 minutes you use the Looftlighter for approximately one minute.
